Our Journey
Our journey began in the year 2011 when our family decided to build a resort on a beautiful, wooded stretch of land in Lonavala. We still remember that the property had several trees that were over 80 years old and this gave the location a sense of serenity & calming vibes. We wanted to build something unique and so we knew that ‘the new’ had to blend with and respect ‘the old.’ That is what would make the property unique.
Fast forward a few years... even though there is a resort developed on this land, each and every one of the old trees still remains, not only on the property but also within the core brand essence of Rhythm! In fact, this is the ethos behind our ‘Tree of Life’ logo. In our design, we have ensured that the structure would adjust to the presence of Mother Nature and never the other way around. By preserving the trees, we have ensured that wherever you are on the property, you will see greenery somewhere. Today, it warms our heart, when we see families sitting in the shade of these trees and bonding. We also have some mango trees which bear fruit and we collect them and make some nice pickles that we include in our cuisine.
Ours is a story of a loving father & his two sons who embarked into the world of hospitality with limited formal training or knowledge in the field. Through project cost overruns, construction delays, global pandemics & government lockdowns, Rhythm Lonavala still stands tall with its roots firmly in the ground & always ready to provide shade to our guests. Whether it's for a special family occasion, a destination wedding, a wellness-based holiday, a corporate gathering or just to get away from the hustle-bustle of city life, our esteemed guests find solace & comfort in our abode.
Ten years later from when our story began, we feel privileged to have served & touched the lives of more than 2,50,000 satisfied guests & to have grown the Rhythm family to 300+ team members & associates without whom none of this would have been possible. Frankly, we are just about getting started! We look forward to welcoming our guests to our new & upcoming resorts in Alibaug, Igatpuri & Coorg in the months & years ahead.
